KUD “MLADOST 1947
KUD “MLADOST 1947” from Subotica was founded in 2023 with the mission to preserve the name and legacy of the former OKUD Mladost, one of the oldest cultural and artistic associations in Subotica, recognized for safeguarding the cultural heritage of multiethnic Vojvodina.
Today, KUD “MLADOST 1947” proudly serves as the guardian of what OKUD Mladost created, continuing to nurture the cultural heritage of Subotica and its multicultural community. The association organizes a variety of activities and programs, including free folklore schools and regular performances, bringing together members of all ages. With over 250 members of different nationalities, KUD Mladost 1947 continues its mission of promoting, preserving, and expanding the cultural identity of Subotica, with a special emphasis on the values of unity and tradition.
HCC Népkör Cifra-Boróka Dance Ensemble
Cifra-Boróka Ensemble was founded in 2014 making it the youngest dance group in Népkör HCC. The group consists of about 40 children between the ages of 6 and 12. Since 2016, the dance ensemble has been a permanent participant of the Kőketánc competition in Bečej and also Vojvodina Folk Dance Ensembles Presentation Stage organized by Interetno festival. The group is regularly featured at folk dance meetings and other events in Subotica and the surrounding area.
