BOKROS – DIAMOND WITH STEEL
Bokros is characterized by unique instruments and distinctive music. Their refined and intellectual musical world is presented in dynamic performances that appeal to all generations.
While the use of unique instruments, such as the hurdy-gurdy and the koboz, is not unusual in the world of music, it is still rare in Hungary, making Bokros’s sound truly incomparable.
Their music transcends genre boundaries: alongside authentic folk elements, improvisational music ambitions and early music motifs seasoned with contemporary ideas also come to life.
The production “Diamond with steel”, a title borrowed from the poet, Bálint Balassi, creates a real summer festival atmosphere, where the Bokros slogan—phenomenon, antiquity, joy—comes to life, with joy taking center stage.
