Step aboard the Transylvania Express and embark on a remarkable journey through time. Magnificent villages and towns, a wealth of cultural treasures, and the living traditions of folk dance, music, and song reveal the rich heritage of Transylvania. The breathtaking landscapes of the historic Királyföld (King’s Land), together with their colorful traditional costumes, tell stories of people’s origins, identities, and social roles. Travelling through Mezőség, Kalotaszeg, Bihar, Székelyföld, Csík, Gyimes, and the remote Hungarian villages of Moldavia, the audience encounters a folk culture that has been preserved for centuries.

The rhythmic sound and movement of the train create seamless transitions between landscapes and moods, carrying the audience from one region to another. Through this performance, the company conveys the message that traditional culture continues to live within all those who believe in preserving our heritage, because our future lies in our traditions.
