Bunjevacko kolo Croatian Cultural Center – Subotica
The Croatian Cultural Center Bunjevacko kolo was established in 1970 to preserve, develop and promote the cultural heritage of the Bunjevci and Croats. Today, with the leadership of Marin Jaramazović ,the cultural center has more than 150 members, who are passionate about folklore, art and drama. In addition to their day-to-day activities, they organize events such as “The Great Prelo”, “Children’s Harvest”, “Museum Night”, “Easter Workshop for Children”, “Annual Concert of the Dance Ensemble”, “Bunarić Artists’ Colony” and others. The Center cooperates with Croatian institutions in the Republic of Serbia, as well as with associations in the Republic of Croatia, Hungary, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, etc.
Rona folk dance group, HCC Népkör – Subotica
Folk dance has been fostered in the Népkör Hungarian Cultural Centre since 1946. Róna dance ensemble is the representative folk dance group of Népkör. They are the operative implementers of the INTERETNO FESTIVAL (CIOFF), organized by Népkör and held each year in August. As owners of multiple qualifications of excellence and with their high-quality performances on the best ranked festivals of the Carpathian Basin, Róna dance ensemble has proven that it belongs among the best folk dance groups in the Hungarian-speaking region.
